OMS has years of experience in wire rope installation and has worked with all sectors within the UK wire rope industry. We can provide installation services on the client’s assets using the best-in-class practices with a highly skilled team of technicians. We deliver work scopes on time and in full.
When it comes to wire rope installation, we work closely with our clients ensuring all foreseeable issues are contained prior to works commencing allowing us to eliminate some of the operational delays. All documentation is submitted upon completion to support requirements set out within LOLER and local standards.

Report of Thorough Examination
We provide our clients with assistance on compliance and service life enhancement; if wire rope assemblies have been made up and stored for longer than a 12-month period, then we would advise that a Report of Thorough Examination is completed prior to or during installation ensuring all our completed works is in line with the schedule set out adhering to the law and best industry practices.
During installation, wire ropes can be pressure lubricated using our best-in-class bio based lubricants in readiness for further compatible service dressings and a base trace can also be offered using a range of our MRT equipment.
Spoolers are also available in all size ranges, supporting installation in some of the most demanding sectors.
